A hair transplant is an important decision. We answer everything you want to know, without beating around the bush.
The treatment is performed under local anaesthesia, so you feel almost nothing during the procedure itself. The administration of the anaesthesia may cause a brief stinging sensation. After the treatment there is a mild sensitivity in the donor zone, which typically disappears within a few days.
A hair transplant is suitable for men and women with a stable hair loss pattern and sufficient donor hair density at the back of the head. We are also specialised in beard transplants and eyebrow corrections. During the free intake we assess whether you are a suitable candidate.
The transplanted hairs will shed in the first few weeks — this is completely normal. New hair growth becomes visible from month 3 to 4. The definitive result is generally fully visible after 12 months, with density and naturalness increasing each month.

Most patients resume their daily activities after 3 to 5 days. Visible scabs in the recipient zone typically disappear within 10 days. Intensive exercise or swimming is not recommended during the first 3 weeks. We guide you step by step through the recovery process.
With FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), individual hair follicles are extracted one by one, leaving no visible scar. FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) involves the removal of a strip of skin, which does leave a linear scar. We work exclusively with the FUE method for the most natural and scar-free result.
